If you’ve visited us at The Ship Inn, there’s a good chance you’ve already met our friendly ginger pub cat, Nelson!

Nelson is a bit of a local celebrity and everyone seems to love him! He belongs to Miguel and Michell and is very much their precious fur baby.

Nelson likes to pop in from time to time, have a little wander around, say hello to our guests and make sure everything is running smoothly. He may not be here every day — he comes and goes as he pleases — but when he does make an appearance, he’s always happy to receive a fuss!

So next time you’re at The Ship Inn, Porlock Weir, keep your eyes peeled… you might just get to meet Nelson, our favourite ginger visitor!
